Reports on whether the Monkey Wrench Gang will ever be made into a movie have been stragglin out over the past few years, taking us to the edge of the canyon; but nobody has managed to push this thing off the edge yet.

There have been reports that Robert Redford and Sean Penn were going to be involved as some point, but the most recent information available shows the following ensemble cast:

John Goodman
Matthew McConaughey
Jack Nicholson
Elisabeth Shue
